Ladder towel hangers

I think the idea of using objects in interesting ways adds so much interest to your home. These ladders were old family heirlooms from my grandparents basement. With a coat of my favorite color of spray paint, they were livened up to give some new life to them and repurposed to hang towels in our bathroom!  

 I think they are pretty cool, how about you?  What objects do you like to give new purpose to?
